I've been fascinated with idea that the years before Noah were actually 360 days. What I think is amazing with this is that it actually fits really nicely from a physics standpoint. If there were originally more water on the earths surface, then you have water that falls down for the first time and more that comes from the deep, and then the water finally settles in somewhere very deep within the earth would begin spinning faster depending on how much water got moved as the rotational inertia of the earth would change with the changing water.
So with this said, we also need to look at Jesus words in Matthew 24:22
"And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short."
If my theory about the oceans being the main effect of day length, we also have another hint over in Luke 21:25, once again on the Olivet Discourse:
"And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth distress of nations in perplexity because of the roaring of the sea and the waves"
So we see strangeness in the Ocean as well.
Now here is where I am having trouble putting this all together in a way that agrees with the Messiah 2023 message and Jesus Words. We have from Daniel and Revelation, exact day counts for what is going to happen, but at the same time, we have Jesus saying the day is going to be cut short. The most obvious way for me to read this would mean that the literal day is going to be shorter than 24 hours which I think is very possible. If this happened though, the year would actually become longer than 365 days, not shorter to 360, as our orbit around the sun would remain the same, and there would be more days as the days are shortened. Certainly God could change our orbit, but I just was wondering if anyone had a response that made sense to the claim of a 360 day year, but Jesus saying that the days would be shortened.
