Many questions I have had about Daniel 9 were addressed in the new part 3 video.
One I still have is in verse 26 when it says “and the end thereof shall be with a flood”
'
Im still bothered by this mention of flood.
Revelation 12:15 says “ and the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.
Are these points linked???
Thoughts on this?
Prophetically, an "army" is like a metaphorical flood. This is why when Daniel 9:26 not only refers to a flood, but it also mentions this "flood" in the context of the war that prefaced the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple.
Likewise, where you mention Revelation 12:15, note how the serpent sends the "flood" (army) but the army is swallowed by earth. This event is called "The Second Exodus" or "The Greater Exodus." This final "exodus" occurs for 3.5 years, starting with 30 days after the Abomination of Desolation and ends when we enter the land and is mentioned in Ezekiel 20 and Revelation 12. Jeremiah 16:14-15 mentions how this exodus will be so great that the first exodus will not even be remembered.
This is not unlike the first exodus. The first exodus resulted in God's people leaving Egypt (the nations) at Passover (really first day of Unleavened Bread) when Moses was 80. Pharaoh's army "flood" followed and was consequently swallowed by the Red Sea. God's people spent 40 years in the wilderness making camp exactly 42 times (which points to the 1260 days or 42 months of the Second Exodus/Greater Exodus. God's people then were led into the Promised land by Joshua (Yeshua in Hebrew) after 40 years, when Moses died at 120.
The second exodus has a micro and macro fulfillment.
MACRO -> Like the first exodus started on Passover when Moses was 80, Messiah Yeshua fulfilled Passover and the first half of Unleavened Bread in Jubilee year 80. We have then been "in the wilderness" for 40 Jubilees and will be led into the Promised Land at the 120th Jubilee.
MICRO -> The first exodus began on a the "first day" of Unleavened Bread at the Passover in the first month of the Biblical year. The micro fulfillment of the "Second Exodus" will occur on the "last day" of Unleavened Bread at the "second" Passover (Numbers 9). We will be taken out of the land, into a land ("wilderness of the peoples" - Exodus 20) for 42 months of protection from the beast system. Messiah Yeshua will arrive 10 days prior to the end of the 1260/1290 (Yom Teruah 2030) to cut the days short for God's people so that the wrath (bowls) can be poured out while we are in the chambers (Isaiah 26) during the 10 "Days of Awe" between Yom Teruah and Yom Kippur and we then enter the Promised Land. The beast system will send an army after us, just like Pharoh, but instead of being swallowed by water like in the first exodus, in the "Second Exodus" the army "flood" will be swallowed by the earth.
We will be caught up after the 3.5 years, which is the Biblical pattern:
-There were 3.5 years, and then Elijah was “caught up.”
-Messiah Yeshua’s ministry was 3.5 years and then he was “caught up.”
-The Two Witnesses will provide testimony for 3.5 years and then they will be “caught up.”
Consider the pattern there. Elijah cried out "The chariots of Israel and its horsemen!" at the end of the 3.5 years.
Jude 1:14
It was also about these that Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying, “Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of his holy ones,
Those that are watching will have 30 days to enter the Greater Exodus after the Abomination of Desolation and will be protected. It will be obvious for those watching prophecy.
For those that do not participate because they are sleeping, but wake up later, it is those that the dragon then goes after (Revelation 12) and will have a more difficult time. Sadly, about half will still be sleeping as we enter the tribulation.
We have a presentation that will go into massive depth about The Greater Exodus/The Second Exodus and will be released prior to part 4 of the Prophetic Messianic Timeline Series.
