I know this sounds like a stupid question but it's genuine for me. The bible is so centered in the middle East that it's hard to imagine how the tribulation and return will involve the whole world, even remote places in continents like Africa.
And the bible also instructs those in Judea to run once they see the abomination of desolation. What about the rest of the world? We will be watching the events in Israel but are we to run and where to?

Bonjour Josie,
Regarding the return of our King, just like the first coming, the second coming will be local (its impact will then be global).
According to several prophecies (check out Isaiah 19), it will be centered in an area that encompasses Egypt, Jordan and the Land of Israel.
Regarding the tribulation, if the antichrist’s religion is Islam, it is not too difficult to foresee that when the Muslims take back Jerusalem, Muslims from all over the world will join the call to global jihad. Since there are Muslims everywhere in the world, the whole world will be impacted.
It is conceivable that the intensity of the great tribulation in a given country could be directly proportional to the percentage of Muslims within its population. In other words, nations with a higher Muslim demographic might experience a more severe manifestation of the tribulation compared to those with a lower percentage.
Hope this helps.
Be blessed,
FX

Thanks FX, I love your Bible-supported answers!
I added this to the question:
"And the bible also instructs those in Judea to run once they see the abomination of desolation. What about the rest of the world? We will be watching the events in Israel but are we to run and where to?"
I can deduce from your answer that I should run if I will be in a Muslim dominated area. Is this why Muslims are mass migrating to almost all Christian countries in the world?

Hi Josie,
This is a good question!
All our Christian life we have been taught that the end time events will be global, that the antichrist will be at the head of a One World Government, that every single human being will be forced to take the mark of the beast and that every single nation of the world will attack Jerusalem.
What if all the above is a deception/diversion from the adversary?
What if the whole unfolding of the end time is local rather than global?
I actually believe this will be the case. And I would go as far as to say that the majority of Christians in Western nations will have no clue we have entered into the 3.5 years of the great tribulation.
I may be wrong, but when I see what the majority of Christians are expecting to see unfold in the end time:
1- Pre-trib rapture
2- Antichrist ruling the whole world
3- One world religion
4- Revived European empire
5- A Russian invasion of Israel
6- A seven-year peace treaty between the antichrist and Israel or the nations
7- A third temple rebuilt
8- The resume of the sacrifices
9- The antichrist claiming to be Elohim
I can’t help to think that – just like the Jewish authorities (who were expecting a wrong scenario) – some will miss the whole thing!
The instructions to run once they see the abomination of desolation are clearly given to a specific people: those in Judea, that is the Jews in Jerusalem. This is very local and concrete. Believers in Paris, New York or LA are not commanded to flee. And most probably they will not witness the abomination of desolation.
Absolutely!
If Ha-satan’s last card is Islam and if the great tribulation consists of up-roars from Muslims killing as many infidels as possible in order to gain their paradise, one has better be prepared.
First and foremost, they are coming because they can get everything for free, but when all hell breaks loose and they think Islam will reach its goal to conquer the world (after the fall of Jerusalem), a lot of Muslims will most probably join the fight.
Hope this helps!
Be blessed,

I think you're right! Most christians will be caught by surprise because we've been misled, and also because we've grown accustommed to conflicts in the middle East.
Before I stumbled on Messiah 2030, I was actually monitoring the European Union and the pope, expecting them to join up and revive the Roman Empire with a German antichrist at the helm, because I had read somewhere that Germany is modern day Assyria. I was also expecting a 7 year peace treaty, and global reach and authority for the antichrist.
Sometimes I wonder where all these lies and myths such as the pre-trip rapture come from. I mean Christians all over the world worship the God of Israel but the majority of us don't even know about the feasts He ordained! We blindly observe pagan feasts that are mentioned nowhere in the bible and don't even question this.
Do you think the trumpet judgements and bowls of wrath will be poured everywhere on earth? For example, when water turns into blood. Is it just the water in the middle east or a third of all the rivers, springs, wells, dams and lakes in all countries?

Hi Josie, I could be wrong, but I think that most of the end time events described in Revelation will be local (i.e.: Middle East/Israel/Jerusalem). Here's the Bibical list of the very nations that will receive the wrath of God when Yeshua returns: - Moab Edom, Seir, Amalek => Jordan + Arabia (Numbers 24; Isaiah 21; Jeremiah 49; Ezekiel 35) - Ammon => Jordan (Jeremiah 49) - Babylon => Iraq (Isaiah 13-14; Jeremiah 50-51) - Assyria => Northern Iraq (Isaiah 14:25; 30:30-33; Zephaniah; Micah 5) - Damascus => Syria (Isaiah 17; Jeremiah 49; Amos 1; Zechariah 9) - Yavan => Turkey (Zechariah 9; Joel 3.6 ) - Gaza, Philistines => Palestinians (Isaiah 14.28-33; Jeremiah 47; Joel 3) - Egypt (Isaiah 19; Jeremiah 46; Ezekiel 29.32) - Tyre => Lebanon (Ezekiel 28; Joel 3) - Magog, Mescheck, Tubal, Togarmah, Gomer => Turkey (Ezekiel 38) - Persia => Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan (Ezekiel 38) - Arabia => Saudi Arabia, UAE (Isaiah 21; Jeremiah 49) - Ethiopia => Sudan (Isaiah 18) - Libya (Ezekiel 38) - Elam => Iran (Jeremiah 49) Is it a coincidence if the biblical text focuses only on Middle Eastern nations? All the nations mentioned in Scripture in the context of God's wrath are Muslim-majority nations today. No Western nation - including Rome - is ever mentioned in the context of God's wrath. This should speak volume to every one of us! If you want to have an overview of what's coming next, I would higly recommend the work/articles of our brother ICA at midnightwatcher.comBe blessed! FX

Hey FX, I've been thinking... When it comes to the current nation of Israel, only the tribes of Judah and Benjamin (and some Levites) have returned, and not with their whole heart. The ten tribes of the Northern Kingdom have scattered and assimilated across many lands and nations. There are some that disagree with this teaching, but Messiah 2030 Project does not. When the time of Jacob's trouble (Jer 30:7) comes, it ought to come not just on the Southern Kingdom (localized region of Judea), but the Northern Kingdom as well and extend to every corner the divorced kingdom has spread. Both houses will be chastised by Yah during the great tribulation through the wrath of the beast. Doesn't this suggest a much more widespread, perhaps near-global, persecution than we might have initially thought? I am speaking of a level greater than just the Islamic sleeper cells embedded across the West rising to the call of the beast. The punishment periods for both houses does not expire until 2030. Surely the woman who flees to the wilderness and is nourished (Rev 12), and those brought through the fire and refined as silver and tested as gold (Zec 13:9) includes more than just the Southern Kingdom. What do you think? midnightwatcher feel free to chime in as well. Blessings

Bonjour Oro y Plata, Nice to hear from you! You’re absolutely right about Jacob’s trouble! It encompasses, all of Jacob, that is the 12 tribes of Israel. When one understands that Juda represents the Jews and Ephraim Christianity (this is a sum up, but there are strong biblical elements that shows so), then it stands to reason that both Jews and Christians will be chastised. Here’s how I see things (but, of course, I could be wrong)! The epicenter will be the land of Israel where Juda will be chastised first and foremost. In the Scriptures, God has always used the surrounding nations to chastise Israel (see for instance Judges 3:12; 2 Chronicles 20:10-12; Jeremiah 25:8-9; Habakkuk 1:6, to name just a few). In the end times, Isahiah tells us that Assyria, will be the rod of Yahweh’s anger, the club of His wrath (Isaiah 10). This will be when the Assyrian enters the land (Micah 5:5-6). When the Turkish led coalition invades Israel and takes half of Jerusalem this will mark the beginning of the great tribulation and this is bound to send choc waves all throughout the world. My understanding is that when Jerusalem falls, this will mark the rallying call for Muslims all around the world to join the global jihad to slaughter Jews and Christian alike where the find them. Just as Juda will be chastised by Islam, Ephraim will be chastised by Islam too. Actually this has already begun in most western nations (through terrorists acts and daily violence, etc.) At this stage, I do not see any “greater” Exodus as our friends from Messiah 2030 see it. My understanding is that this greater Exodus takes place when Yeshua returns and is the first resurrection of the saints (but I could be wrong too! This is why I wait for their teaching with great anticipation! Also the one on the mark of the beast, as it seems that their current understanding on the whole end time scenario is based on a Western interpretation, involving the CDC, Davos, etc.). Some of us will be protected during the 3,5 years of the great tribultion. How? I do not know yet, but Abba does! What do you think ICA (ie. midnightwatcher)? Any other insights? Blessings from France! FX

FX, So we consist of the so called "lost tribes" then? That is certainly profound, but something I have thought about as well. When is it appropriate to use the term "grafted in gentiles"? Thank you for sharing your predictions. I am watching, and we certainly appear to be headed in that direction. When those in the faith are gathered from the "wilderness of the peoples" to be in the land or chambers at the first resurrection, it certainly seems to check the box for being an exodus so great that the first will not even be remembered. Concerning protection, I believe that privilege will only be extended to faithful Israel and perhaps that is what the woman of Rev 12 is referring to. As for how and if it will encompass all of faithful Israel, I do not know. I eagerly await the next presentations from Messiah 2030 as well. The Messiah 2030 Project, if you see this will you please drop us another prophetic nugget in the interim? It can be something as simple as an information dump of uncovered material. Just give us something to chew on. As the Scriptures say... [Pro 3:27-28 NKJV] 27 Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, When it is in the power of your hand to do [so]. 28 Do not say to your neighbor, "Go, and come back, And tomorrow I will give [it]," When you have it with you.

Bonjour Oro y Plata, Correct! Some of us are direct descendants of one of the 10 lost tribes. In Jesus we are grafted back to believing Israel. Can we prove it? Of course. Prophesying to the 10 non-Jewish Northen tribes of the House of Israel, Hosea says: Yet the Israelites will be like the sand on the seashore, which cannot be measured or counted. In the place where it was said to them, ‘You are not my people,’ they will be called ‘children of the living God.’ (Hosea 1.10) Who are be called ‘children of the living God in the NT? John gives us the answer: Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God. (John 1.12) Generally speaking those who believe in Jesus are the Christians. Hence, when you put the two together, it becomes clear who we are in Jesus. Both Paul and Peter make the same connection when addressing to “Christian gentiles” (1 Peter 2.8-10 ; Romans 9.24-27). Amongst the descendants of Israel returning to the fold, there are “genuine gentiles” (who have no blood connection with Israel) who join in as well through faith. These become part of Israel too. Bottom line, what is important to understand is that in Jesus, we are Israel. Yahweh does not have any covenant with gentiles! He only has a covenant with the House of Israel and the House of Juda, through faith in Yeshua. Through faith we either join one House or the other. The Jews are associated with the House of Juda and the non-Jews, with the House of Israe. If this greater exodus consists of all the raptured saints at the resurrection and their settling in the land of Israel, I bet to the eyes of all the surviving nations, this event will look like something much bigger than the first exodus that took place 3500 years ago! And such “exodus” from the nations of the sons of God is precisely what creation has been eagerly expecting: the revelation of the children of God (Romans 8.19)! Looks like it mainly concerns those of the assembly of Philadelphia…Hence, the urgency to repent and return to walking like Yeshua walked, that is keeping Torah out of genuine love and guided by the Spirit. Will these saints be protected from the beast wherever they are in the desert of the nations? If Messiah 2030 chronology is correct, we should not have that long to wait… Be blessed! FX

There's no such thing as a stupid question! And there's no guarantee you'll get an accurate answer. I think your point about the centrality of the Middle East in regard to Bible prophecy is very important and true and there's a lot of teachings that tend to shift focus somewhat. I've come to realize that Israel, Jerusalem, and Judea are so central to Bible prophecy because just about all of yet future prophecy isn't focused on the church or the world at all, but at the redemption of blinded, faithful Israel.
To that end, I see the great tribulation focused on Israel in Judea first, like the extension of both judgement and the Gospel going to the Jew first then the Gentile. However, I think that the enemy of mankind has such a great deception that he will convince the majority of a blinded people that his puppet is the long-awaited messiah. And just like Israel turned against itself when Yeshua brought the Gospel in His Father's name, when one comes in his own name, much of Israel will accept him and the prophecies about the purging of the land to be holy to the Lord will be hijacked and used for the harlot going after a false god to turn against her own family. I think this is why this time is both unparalleled in nature and why it's called the time of Jacob's trouble, because it is a family affair to begin with. Jeremiah 30:4-7, Daniel 12:1, Matthew 24:15-22, Mark 13:14-20
However, Revelation 12:13-17 reveals two phases to the great tribulation in agreement with the focus on Israel in Judea. And when the Dragon is first cast out he goes after Israel first, but when she is protected from him, he goes after the remnant of her seed and those holding the testimony of Christ. If the focus was first in Judea, then the continued focus on Israel and Christians will be not Judea, or expanding throughout the world.
We also see in Daniel 7, the lion, leopard, bear, and 10-horned beast are all contemporaneous and diverse from each other. I believe these represent political power consolidated into the 4 corners of the earth, likely through some crisis that accomplishes this consolidation like financial collapse or security of some sort. The corner of the earth with the 10 horns is representative of the Middle East in that is where the little horn comes up amongst and we know that Jerusalem is his center of power. While he's called a little horn, he defeats 3 of the 10 horns so he's not little in power, but little in size. If you look at the kingdoms of the Middle East, the land of Israel fits this size difference, yet is more powerful than the others, which, in addition to God putting it in their hearts to do so, is probably why they give their power over to the little horn.
In Revelation 13, we see these same four animals represented as one in the Dragon, showing that he will have followers around the world to do his bidding. I think under the guise of the fulfillment of Old Testament prophecies about Yeshua, what Christians see as the Messianic Kingdom ruled by Yeshua will be hijacked by a replacement false messiah the world accepts before Yeshua comes. They will make pilgrimages to Jerusalem and all the things we might expect from prophetic fulfillment by Yeshua.
Revelation 13:8 "And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world."
So I suspect that while the great tribulation will begin in Israel and those outside will be watching events unfold much like we are now after October 7, the whole world will fall in line and the same laws and powers that currently hunt down terrorists will have the idea of terrorist redefined in honor of the false messiah and in time "see something, say something" will be used in conjunction with something like a CBDC and a physical mark to root out those who reject the new god in Jerusalem. As Christians I think we tend to look at this as a dystopian nightmare, but I fully suspect that for all who worship the beast it will seem like utopia has finally arrived. But of course utopia means nowhere and it's all a ruse, but I fully expect the great tribulation to advance globally very quickly in a modern world after Israel's protected. However, they will also be dealing with the wrath of God at that point as well so there's a lot of unknowns.
I don't think the bride will be on earth for more than 30 days after the abomination of desolation, so we may be spared most of the tribulation. But we should also keep in mind that the mystery of iniquity will be at work during the time leading up to the abomination of desolation to implement control. We should prepare ourselves to personally experience it while looking up at the time draws near. Until then let us also share the good news with all who have ears to hear as time is short.

It's pointless to speculate on the exact details of future events. It's fine to discuss the high-level view but don't be so dogmatic on the exact details. Just wait and see the events unfold in real time. Use due diligence, common sense and above all allow the Holy Spirit to guide us through the turbulent times ahead.

Just wait and see the events unfold in real time. Use due diligence, common sense and above all allow the Holy Spirit to guide us through the turbulent times ahead. I wouldn't say it's pointless to speculate on details of future events as long as everyone understands they are speculations and not dogmatic. I think it's important to think about the possibilities and sometimes that can lead to insights from scripture one may not have recognized in a particular way before. And there are some things not stated in scripture directly that can be inferred logically, which is what I attempt to do for greater understanding in prayer and study of God's Word. For instance, directly related to the question, I should have been more explicit in the scriptural basis for some of my speculation.
Daniel 7:3 "And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another."
Daniel 7:17 "These great beasts, which are four, [are] four kings, [which] shall arise out of the earth."
Daniel 7:7 "After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it [was] diverse from all the beasts that [were] before it[H6925]; and it had ten horns."
Daniel 7:11-12 "I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld [even] till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame. As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time."
From this we see the animals of Daniel 7 are diverse from each other, that they coexist before each other spatially, not temporally, and when the fourth beast with the little horn is destroyed and cast into the lake of fire at Armageddon, Revelation 19:20-21, the other three have their lives prolonged for a season and time. All of this points to the separate existence of four kings, which implies kingdoms over which they reign in the earth, but they are different from each other. It is also clarified that this vision of Daniel's is taking place at the end, still future to us. I know a lot of people try and fit Daniel 7 into Daniel 2 and the historical kingdoms, matching animals, but I feel it's pretty clearly a vision of the end, not the past.
Revelation 13:1-8 "And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as [the feet] of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who [is] like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty [and] two months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world."
This is the only place where the same 3 animals and the 4th 10-horned beast are mentioned together again. Only now, in the kingdom of the false christ they are no longer separate and diverse, but joined together to the beast, which is the Dragon, who gives power and authority to what Daniel speaks of as the little horn. And we see this symbolic representation mirrored in the fact that the whole world is worshiping the beast and the Dragon as he goes after God's people, the great tribulation.
So my logical extrapolation of what is being said without saying it directly is that what will be unified as one Dragon representing the whole world worshiping the little horn that leads the head of the Dragon in the end, is seen by Daniel prior to that time as 4 diverse kings of kingdoms. Clearly there are not only 4 kingdoms in the earth, and we see even with the 4th beast that it is comprised of 10 horns, which are kings themselves of kingdoms.
Daniel 7:20-25 "And of the ten horns that [were] in his head, and [of] the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even [of] that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look [was] more stout than his fellows. I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them; Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom. Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. And the ten horns out of this kingdom [are] ten kings [that] shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings. And he shall speak [great] words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time."
It seems a logical deduction then that if the 4th beast is a king and has 10 horns, which are also kings, that these 4 beasts that are contemporaneous with each other and yet diverse, and are later united with the Dragon as represented by the whole world worshiping the beast and Dragon, then these 4 beasts must represent what we might call more of an alliance of kingdoms, like NATO, BRICS, Abraham Accords, or something completely different we haven't seen yet. A kind of global governance that keeps sovereignty of nations or kingdoms, but ties them together in a legal bond by which they must comply. These 4 would seem to then represent some kind of collection of political alliances that define global governance in some form that is not yet evident fully.
This is where more speculation comes in about thinking logically how we might get to a place where nation-states would unite in this fashion such that they would give up sovereignty in this way. Clearly it's happened in smaller ways with some nations, but it seems to me that the kind of political uniting of the world to be parts of the Dragon would require more political control than is apparent to me at this time. Money runs everything in the world though, which is why my speculation tends to drift there, in addition to the element of controlling who buys and sells in the kingdom of the false christ. However, it could be related to the wars and rumors of wars that will become more prevalent both in the Middle East and perhaps around the world. I think this will be due to Israel's confirming of the Mosaic Covenant and focus on building the temple to return to the everlasting statutes God gave them that will trigger much of that conflict, but that's a whole other series of scriptures that lead to that conclusion.
I feel that this view has a solid foundation in scripture without reading much into it and will likely be one of the first signposts of the end we will be able to see. It seems clear both Daniel 7 and John were seeing visions of the future that have not yet come to pass. While there is some sense of speculation on how that exactly will come to pass or what the details of the 3 animals Daniel sees mean symbolically, the underlying signpost seems fairly evident from a logical examination of the prophecies and I believe reveals a piece of the puzzle when looking at how persecution of faithful Israel and those holding the testimony of Christ will be affected world-wide.
I think the idea of the symbolic dividing of the world into four parts and the return and gathering is also seen in the Olivet Discourse.
Matthew 24:29-31 "Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other."
It seems His return will be seen and recognized by all, and that the gathering of His elect from the whole earth is also symbolized as being gathered from the four winds, one end of heaven to the other. Of course like anyone who studies Bible prophecy, I can't claim to be 100% right and I'm not dogmatic about it personally. I do have stronger beliefs in those pieces that agree with the whole council of God and make sense in light of today's world, but I agree with you that we're all just watching God's plans unfold and need to rely on the Holy Spirit as we remain obedient and show the fruits of the Spirit in our lives for the effectual imaging of God in the world so that when the world sees us and we are not hypocrites to what we say we believe, they will be drawn and open to hearing the good news. Ultimately that's our primary concern in these times is winning the lost for the kingdom. The end will come to pass, but hopefully as the day gets nearer we will become bolder in sharing the Gospel in selfless love.

I do appreciate your check on speculation as I often find myself what if-ing and it's an important point to stick to the Word of God as our foundation in all things as that's the only solid foundation we have.
