Bonjour PM
This reality comes from the fact that Christians have been cut from their Hebraic roots for the last 1700 years. Instead of walking like Jesus walked, Christians walk like pagans walk. And this is precisely the reason why they are no longer the salt of the earth and ambassadors of truth. And also, this explains why the will be chastised...
Salvation is one thing and is paramount. But so is sanctification! And sanctification starts the day we are saved! We are commanding to walk like Jesus walked.
The Torah shows us how to walk, in order to love God and love our neighbors. The instructions of Yahweh have been given to set us apart from the rest of the world and to sanctify us so that we are a light to the nations. And to the Jew first.
Three quick questions:
Did Jesus rest on Sunday?
Did Jesus eat pork?
Did Jesus celebrate pagan festivals?
Think about it!
Obeying the above three commandments of Torah (that are still observable today and easy to apply in our lives) would not only completely set Christians apart from the rest of the world, but would also present Yeshua as the true Messiah to the eyes of the Jews.
This is actually what Yahweh commands us to be when He says: “Be holy because I’m holy”!
Today, the Jews see the Christian Jesus as a Torah breaker and as a teacher who commands his disciples to break Torah. This is the sad reality and it has amazing implications. For a Jew, Jesus just cannot be the Messiah, because the people who are supposed to represent Him, do not walk the way he walked.
The world rests on Sunday not on Shabbat => Christians, just like the pagans break the 4th commandment!
The world eats things that Yahweh does not call comestible and that are abominations to Him => Christians, just like the pagans break the Leviticus 11 commandments!
The world celebrates pagan festivals (like christmas, Passover, to name just two) => Christians, just like the pagans break the Leviticus 23 commandments: God (and not the Jews’)’s appointed times.
The One Christians claim to love sets us 7 Holy Rendez-vous each year as a Lover would to his Bride. But the bride, who claims to love her groom, does not show up at the rendez-vous! Instead she goes to the rendez-vous of other pretendents!
Is this love?
Just a reminder: breaking Torah is the Biblical definition of sin! (1 John 3:4: "Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness.")
99% of Christians just do not realize what they are doing, because they do not know their Scriptures the way they are supposed to know them. This is precisely why the prophet says:
"My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children." (Hosea 4:6)
This verse emphasizes the importance of knowledge, particularly knowledge of God's law, and the consequences of rejecting it, which will be the 3,5 years of great tribulations.
Hope this shades a light?
Be blessed!
